NPI Design provides me with freedom and responsibility to think, to create, to bring any idea to the table. Since childhood, I’ve had a fascination and curiosity about art and architecture. There were always art books at home, along with Architectural Digest and National Geographic subscriptions. I have my mother to thank: Creativity was certainly encouraged and nurtured.
Over the past three decades, I’ve literally spent thousands of hours exploring both the greats of the past and emerging 21st century artists. Among my favorites: Hopper, Sargent, Motherwell, Picasso and Moore. I’m also an avid researcher, continually scoping the globe for talent, specialty products and materials.
Collecting art is an opportunity to celebrate the talents of others while enhancing the design and feel of our homes. I’ve always appreciated the time and talent that goes into a work of art. As collectors, we are entrusted with a small piece of the artist through their work.
